Gala of Cinema and Fiction in Campania 2008
Since its establishment, the Campania Region Film Commission, established to promote Campania as the ideal set for the production of cinema, television and any other audiovisual genre, has communicated to the international production sector not only the particular charm, also unpublished landscapes and locations truly engaging, but also the ability and creativity of generations of professionals and artists who have been recognized as undisputed protagonists since the origins of cinema.
The Gala of Cinema and Fiction in Campania is proposed as a new meeting opportunity for representatives of institutions, entrepreneurs and operators in the tourism and audiovisual industries, with the active involvement of well-known faces of the small and the big screen and representatives of the sector press, it presents itself as an ideal opportunity to reaffirm on one hand the cultural and entrepreneurial role of the territory in audiovisual production, and on the other the importance of the audiovisual industry as a driving force for development also in relation to the tourism sectors, of the trade in technological innovation.
As evidence of this, Il Galà presents itself with a program divided into two distinct but complementary phases, inaugurating the first edition with an event marked by glamor and the natural propensity for worldliness of the entertainment world, to continue, in December, with a conference where the results, future prospects, proposals and initiatives that emerged during a particularly happy production season for Italy and Campania will be discussed.
We have joined this glamorous event because it intends to celebrate and reward quality, variety and, why not, the quantity of films and television productions that our region has been able to accept in recent years, showing that it possesses the technical and professional requirements entrepreneurial know-how and institutional foresight for a further revival of audiovisual production made in Campania.
